Right to Use Site and Content
You may use this site only for the purposes for which it is provided. You must not use this site for fraudulent or other unlawful activity or otherwise do anything to damage or disrupt this site. If so Legal action will be taken against you or a corporation.
We endeavour to ensure that any content will be current, accurate or complete when you access it. However any error or inaccuracy which is brought to our intention will be dealt with within a reasonable time. This site may contain links to other websites owned and operated by third parties and which are not under the control of us. In relation to any linked sites we provide these as a convenience to you and the existence of such a link does not imply any endorsement by us of the linked site and we are not responsible for any material contained on those sites.
Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Instructions for the use of goods must be followed, and the goods must not be used for any other purpose other than which they were intended. The customer is responsible for the necessary skill and care in the handling of the product.
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that The Book Playbox accepts no obligation or liability for any advice given. Goods are accepted by the Customer entirely at the customer’s risk.
All specials and deals are while stocks last only. No rain checks.
The Book Playbox is a monthly subscription box for children.
Each monthly box includes a new picture book title, a creative activity and helpful instructions.
Our subscription choices include a traditional monthly pay as you go option, a prepaid option or a gift option. All of which require a minimum purchase period of two months. This means that when subscribers subscribe to any of the options provided by The Book Playbox subscription services the customer is committing to a minimum period of two months. After this time subscribers may suspend, cancel or move their subscription to suit their needs.
A monthly subscription model refers to the pay as you go, you pay for each month's box and the postage cost of the box prior to the shipment month.
A prepaid subscription model refers to the up front payment of all boxes in the prepaid subscription period including the shipping cost.
Our prepaid subscription options are offered in 4, 6 and 12 month periods. This means the customer pays up front in full and will receive consecutive monthly boxes for the duration of the prepaid subscription. A two month commitment period is also required before any changes to the subscription can be made.
A gift option can be selected at the time of checkout for any of the above, traditional subscription or prepaid options.
All payments for a subscription box, pre paid, or gift are made prior to shipment.

Our subscription boxes ship on the 5th of each month. The pre shipment cut off date is the 4th of each month. Subscription billing occurs on the 15th of the previous month. Prepaid options are paid upfront with full shipping costs to cover your chosen prepaid option, this cost is added at the time of purchase. All of our subscription and prepaid box options require a minimum 2 month commitment period before any changes can occur.
A missed payment will be rescheduled a number of times however if payment is not made the preceding boxes will cease.
